Hello June! With summer officially commencing, I’ve been drawn to everything symbolic of summer. I recently spotted Anne’s work at a local bookstore in Soho (Clic Bookstore…you have to check it out!) and have loved her work ever since. Her photos capture her travels across the globe, from New York to Shanghai, Tokyo to Paris, India to Africa. These pieces are such a great way to inspire wanderlust all year long.
With the holidays and entertaining season creeping up on us, we’ve got the perfect solution for appetizing guests. With a few easy tips, you’ll be one your way to serving an award winning cheese platter.
Marble is no longer exclusively for those kitchen counter tops. I have been seeing a revival of the luxe stone everywhere, from home furnishings to decorative accents. Getting married recently, I found myself gravitating to items with marble finishes for our registry so I thought I would share my favorite finds! The finish is classic and modern and looks clean and bright in any space.
Don’t get me wrong,I love summerbut there is something about fall that makes me feel refreshed. In New York, summer is all about fleeing Manhattan for the Berkshires, the Hamptons, the Jersey Shore — anywhere you won’t melt. I have a handful of people that I didn’t get see all summer and fall is the perfect time to do some much needed catching up. F. Scott Fitzgerald said it best:
“Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.”
So to kick-off the season and our first post, here is some fallspiration.
